Cosmetic function
Oil obtained from the cold pressing of musk rose seeds. It is extremely interesting for its high content of linoleic and linolenic acid which, together with vitamin E, give this oil remarkable skin regenerating power, making it ideal for dry and mature skins, thanks to the moisturising properties and the capacity to prevent laughter lines, marks on the skin and stretch marks, increasing the efficiency of all anti-wrinkle treatments.
Description
Wild plant of oriental origin, belonging to the Rosaceae family and present mainly in Chile and the Andes, where there is a temperature and rainy climate. It is a pretty plant, characterised by spiny stems and branches and white or pale pink flowers. The red fruits contain numerous seeds which are cold pressed to obtain oil.
Notes
The musk rose was used several centuries ago in Chile by the Araucan tribe to soften the skin and for its moisturising and healing properties.
