Description
Herbaceous and perennial plant that belongs to the family of Apiaceace or Umbelliferae. It grows spontaneously on wetlands of tropical and sub-tropical regions. It has a creeping stem and grey-green, dentate leaves. Flowers are pinkish to red and fruits are small, dark brow achenes.
Notes
In India the Centella is known as “Tiger herb” due to the fact that tigers roll on it to heal and soothe their wounds after combat.
